I am so unbelievably busy around here. Ronnie, my honey, has been off for the last 4 days straight and we have been doing a lot of outside work. We expanded our temporary chicken yard by another 50 ft. making it a little more permanent. We have also done a lot of tree trimming and landscaping. We have several oak trees that had not been trimmed. We wanted to get all of the lower limbs trimmed up so that you could cut the grass easily underneath them. They look soooo much better. We also cut down an unnecessary post on our back porch. The people who lived here had a porch swing on the post but we just felt like it was an eye sore and also a little flimsy. Ronnie will be making a bench out of it for extra seating on our porch. As you can tell, when he is home we just work like crazy. Between the two of us, we try to get all that we can done, while we have help. So today, I am catching up on laundry, making kombutcha, cleaning the house, really cleaning the house, and getting together home school books to sell on eBay. As well as, working on my list of home school needs for the coming school year. I just wanted to take a moment to check in and let you know I will be back soon with pictures of all of our latest doings.

Can't wait to see the improvements you did. Even though you've been busy I believe you love what you're doing, I can somehow sense it in your post that you are not complaining but simply sharing.
Now don't forget to share the pics please...
Oh, my, you have been busy! Try to get some rest this weekend!
And by the way...you've been tagged! :)
I'm usually scared of dark colors too but we get so much light in the dining room that I knew it wouldn't be a problem. We actually don't even have an overhead light in our living room because it gets so much light. I like lamp light anyway. :) I've actually seen a really dark color in a small bathroom with no windows and it looked so dramatic and pretty. :)
Wow, you have been busy! Did I know you were a homeschooling mom? I am not sure, but I am too. This will be my 12th year... yes that means I have a senior. How did he get to be this old? He was just a baby yesterday. God has been good and gotten us through ...hasn't always been easy, but He is faithful.
Blessings,
Christi
Wow busy busy busy day! I wish I could get my honey to do some outdoor work but it's neither of ours favorite task. Have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

Just popping in to say Goodmorning! Susie H~
Morning friend! You and your hubby sound like me and Bill...when he is off for a few days we work in the yard and just enjoy our time together..I loved your post just below this one...funy how happy we think we are going our own way but when we go God's direction oh the joy and happiness we find! I envy you living in the country with CHICKENS!!! lol I love them! We lived in Mississippi off and on for a few years in the 70's & 80's...Bill worked on the Tenn Tom riverway over in Columbus and then we lived in Caledonia for awhile..very small community at that time! Thanks so much for coming by my grandmother posting and for that sweet comment..I will add you to my list cause I definitely want to be coming back to visit you..have a great day girl!
