A Little Prayer Request...

As of last Friday, my life has been turned upside down. My mom fell on a little patch of ice in her yard and tore her Supraspinatus Tendon and began to tear her infraspinatus tendon. Which, in lamens terms, is her rotary cuff in her shoulder. It is a tear that has to be surgically fixed. My sister and I have been taking turns staying with her in the hospital and then I brought her home with me for a couple of nights. She is at her home tonight but we are already feeling like that is not a great idea. Her pain is just so intense and gets worse during the night. However, she just wanted to go home for a night. My sister is going to go get her tomorrow. The surgery will be Tuesday and she will come home with me until the weekend and then go back to my sisters. If you could just say a prayer for us. We are all just worn out with this whole situation and are just ready to be on the road to recovery. I have driven the 100 mile one way trip every day this week and tonight I am dragging, oh and my house is a mess.LOL My mom is very strong and independent so you can imagine how tough this is on her and us all. So, I thank you in advance for lifting us up in prayer.

Oh trixi I am sorry! I will definately be in prayer for your mom, for her surgery and for her recovery.... bless you girl for being there for her...... just as she was for you when you were a wee one and growing up.... I know it must be wearing on you... when you get tired and worn, remember all the times she stayed up with you growing up to nurse you or up because you had a fever or ill or sick or whatever..... this is "pay back" time in many ways.....
I wish oh How I wish I was closer to my mom to be there for her..... she lives in Seattle and I am in missouri and it breaks my heart I can not be there to her to minister to her needs.
I will be in prayer - you are blesed to be there to serve.
God bless,
gloria
ps. thanks for the wonderful encouraging scriptures you left on my blog today!! We are going thru a real rough patch -- but God still sits on the throne!

Hello, trixi! I have been thinking of you and praying for you.... you have been laid on my heart the last few days... and I just wanted to check in on you.... I do hope that your prayers are answered and that the Lord does bless you with the desire of your heart.
Whatever that may be..... that is what I needed to tell you tonight...it was on my heart to tell you that, not sure "why" but I just did. I hope it makes sense to you. :)
God bless you & keep you,
gloria
