I love you Katherine and I have missed you like crazy this week!!!!
In the meantime we are staying busy busy with the garden. I go out every morning for a while and weed or tie up tomato plants.
All of this hard work has produced beyond our wildest dreams. We have decided this may very well be our best garden yet. I think God is blessing this sweet man because he missed all of last years harvest. He loves gardening. I am so thankful. I love stalks of corn. It is really shooting up now.We have a ton of squash and zucchini blooms.
And a ton of zucchini.....
And a ton of zucchini.....
and squash. We should be picking by the end of the week. Praise the Lord.
I have 60 tomato plants planted and it looks like only one is going to die. They are already covered with little tomatoes. Today I am taking all of my frozen tomatoes from last year and working on my new spaghetti/pizza sauce. I will be putting up a lot of sauce, salsa, and ketchup this year, Lord willing.
~~she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. Prov. 6:8~~
By the way, I am wondering does anyone have any idea what this plant is? I don't think it is an angel trumpet. It doesn't grow on a large stem. It grows more like an amaryllis. It may just be some type of amaryllis, however the foliage looks different.

It's been so good to hear from you.
So cool about your daughter. She is a rare breed these days and I hope her mission trip is a success.
On another note your garden looks WONDERFUL. I'm a bit jealous!!
I hope you have a huge bounty this year.

I love your garden ! We did not get a chance to plant one this year with everything that we have been going through. I am going to miss it.
I love seeing everyone else's bounty come in. Please share more as it is coming.
I will be praying for your daughter. It is hard but good when they go off to do something like this own their own. My oldest just turned 21 yesterday and she had been on trips also that I just had to trust God with her and of course everything went fine, lol...
Let us know when she is back and how it went for her.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I'm following you now.
Your zucchini looks a little bigger than ours. Alas, we're out here in West Texas with very little rain. We're trying, though:).
Oh, joy! A kindred spirit!! And in the same state!! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Would love to visit with you.
I sent the last comment without thinking that I am on my son's computer and under his google account. I am Anita at busyhandsbusyminds.blogspot.com.
How wonderful the "man of your dreams" is home! Being a military brat I know how this feels.
Do you not love having a vegetable garden - you truly to reap what you sow. ;)
